SpltSecond, mandatory don't mean anything. All Bob has to do is call Suliman and just like that, Stevenson will get his shot at Haney without an eliminator. Then the WBC will make Cruz fight someone else in a eliminator, which Cruz will win, and then it will take the winner of the Haney vs Stevenson fight 2 years to fight Cruz, maybe they just vacate the belt or move up. Mark my words, " Stevenson or Haney will not fight Cruz". And the whole thought process because Cruz is short that it's easy money for Stevenson or Haney is B.S, it's harder for a tall fighter to fight a shorter fighter because you have to punch down, and Cruz puts up tremendous pressure and has power, he was careful with Tank because Tank is a huge puncher, so Cruz had to think and be careful with him. Cruz will not have that problem with either one of these guys, especially Haney who is pillow fisted, Cruz beats Haney, I'll give Stevenson a 60-40 edge over Cruz, but if you think Cruz is not a live dog, you might be in for a surprise if that fight happens, oh yeah, Cruz is better than Valdez and is a bigger puncher and puts more pressure.

Well that would be a bad look considering Top Rank gave their word to Sulaiman that they’d be up for any eliminator to get Shakur into a mandatory position for the Haney vs Lomachenko winner.

Top Ranks deal with Haney was involvement in the Kambosos fight and the winner vs Lomachenko last I checked.

Shakur will ride his bicycle into a boring decision W if this fight actually takes place. Uncle bob wont allow it anyways if cruz still has ties with PBC ,not sure if its case here.

Shakurs a great fighter but he’s not Floyd. Not saying Cruz would win but he will definitely land punches on Shakur because he’s determined and would sell out to do so. Even if it risks himself getting knocked out. That’s his style.

No don't get me wrong! He will land something but just nothing accurate against Stevenson. Isaac likes to load on up on wild haymakers. So he will land some punches on Shakur's arms and elbows but nothing clean to the face.

I can see "The Pitbull" getting potshot from the outside at will because he's too short and slow to cut off the ring against Shakur Stevenson.

That could very much happen. But what I like about Cruz is his complete disregard for his body in order to land his shot. Reminds me a lot of the first Maidana Mayweather fight. But it’s going to take more than a little pot shot to keep Cruz off of Shakur. He’s going to have to do what Floyd did and land some combinations. That’s why I like this fight. It’s about matchups rather than style or skill.
