How damn long does someone need to heal from an injury? This is just wrong but coming from the WBC it does not surprise me. I just feel for boxers who are constantly putting their lives on the line to be dealt with this way. This is a joke just like Charlo is. Dude has not fought for like 16 months now and Adames needs to be patient? The WBC continues to prove that they are at the bottom of the sanctioning bodies by a mile. This is why I'm ok with the fact that at one point Canelo told the WBC to f themselves. They deserved every bit of it. I wish more boxers would do the same...maybe this way their start to show a little respect because they have none...not even for themselves.

Everyone lionizes Tyson Fury for going through his issues - even when it saw him abruptly cancel a rematch with Klitschko that he never went on to fulfill.. Why shouldn’t Charlo get the same level of empathy?

Fury came out and declared it to the world. If Charlo comes out and declares it (and he is not really obligated to do so) that might bring in some empathy. When our stars show that they are human too, it makes us appreciate them more. That is aside from trolls and people who are biased or mean-spirited. I hope he gets back on track and comes out a better person from what he is going through.

Why did Munguia turn down Adames?

Because Mungia has no defense and would get KTFO. Mungia is being protected and fighting tomato cans. He could've fought any number of top guys and has turned them all down.
