Fulton knows better than that. It doesn't matter how much power one has; the skill must be there on some level in order to land the punch. He is saying that because he himself only has 8 KOs in 21 wins.

And he's arguably a better technical fighter than Fulton, in fact I'll outright say he is a better technical fighter because it takes some serious precision to be able to land such heavy shots on guys with the ease he manages to do so.

Definitely not a better technical fighter than Fulton. He may be your favorite fighter, and he has a high skill level, but Fulton is a pure boxer with great defense and knowledge of what punches to throw depending on the distance, and what angles to use to hit without taking shots. He is a master of the ring, he just doesn't have Inouye type of power, but few at those weight classes do. The difference between them besides power, Inouye doesn't possess great defense, but it doesn't cost him because after taking a punch, what he throws back, with the power behind it, normally leaves his opponent cautious. But when he's in with a game opponent, its normal to see him take a lot of shots during the fight, he just has a solid chin, and he eventually lands his killshot. The footwork between the two isn't close, but Inouye doesn't have bad footwork, its just that Fulton's is exceptional.

Me too, I think Fulton takes him to school, but it all comes down to can he avoid the knockout blow. He can take the least damaging shots using his footwork and defense, but he can afford to get caught clean.

IDK. Fulton can last longer than some for sure. But he catches one of those blows and its night night imo.

Inoue is #1P4P, no question. It's not even close. There's such a difference that you can plug any one of at least 4 different fighters in at Forum and it won't matter because Monster is at least a level higher. The power, quickness, fluidity, IQ, anticipation, punch selection, and accuracy, even in a fire-fight, as abbreviated as they've been to this point, is about as complete a package as I've ever seen and whoever beats him at this stage of his career is going to have to be a really scary SOB. I've seen him counter a punch his opponent was just starting to throw, and I've seen him do it more than once.

Inoue isn't in the top 10 of BoxingScene's Competition Index.

He passes the eye test but it's easy to look good against lower level opponents.
