    Prime Kovalev vs Bivol

How do you see this going?

I think many people have forgotten just how scary the Krusher was.

    Ridiculous power in both hands.

    Great skills

    Thoughts?

The Kovalev that fought Pascal 1/2? Krusher would win. Prime Kovalev was an absolute monster.

jaded - perhaps this could use shifting to NSB, are my thoughts.

          I'm not sure....Bivol is special.

Pascal 2 Kovalev was prime imo...I agree an absolute beast but even still Bivol is faster and has the technique.

I could see Bivol beating (decision) prime Ward and Kovalev actually with his style.

Kovalev wouldn't imo be able to finish Bivol and I think Bivol would edge him overall.

Krusher is now underrated overall due to the tail end of his career and Canelo loss.

So no disrespect to him...I'm just really impressed with Bivol.

I’d pick Kovalev by decision. He had excellent skills as well as scary power. Kovalev’s kryptonite was body work but Bivol is more of a headhunter.

Prime Kovalev still dropped the last 5-6 rounds to Ward in their 1st fight. Bad gas tank is genetic. weak chin is genetic.

Bivol survives the first 6 rounds and outboxes Kovalev down the stretch, maybe even stopping him.

Kovalev would have to stop Bivol to win. tall task given he has the best defensive ability in boxing period.

My gut says Kovalev. But Bivol has shown time and again that he can raise the bar in his game whenever necesssary.
