Does Bivol Have a Clinch Game

this is the area I haven’t seen him in yet

Tactical clinching could come in handy against guys like Beter and Benavidez

Cotto was a very good fighter whose lack of a clinch game costed him dearly against margacheato and manny

        It’s definitely a skill

Of course it can be used too often

If he gets rocked by the Chechen bear he better know how to tie up

I hope not but it's definitely a skill every fighter needs in case he gets his bell rung. I like Bivol's game as it is, constantly moving and feinting, he wears his opponents down, constantly adjusting their defense.

Very much so, grappling needs strength and angles, Ali and Floyd were masters at tying guys up its so much more than just hanging on, Manny Steward once said of Floyd he is a rubber man and that does describe how it works, its a great skill to have when you need it as it controls pace and can render the opponents offence to nothing.
