Go watch some Beterbiev’s fights
You’ll understand
Very high iq in the ring , decent footwork ( cuts the ring well ) boxes And that power
What a losing combinationComment

Seen most of his fights. Watched his work on the rise in Montreal. He’s a beast. Fun to watch. My opinion might eventually be proved wrong, but it’s not uninformed. The Gvozdyk fight was the most impressive to me. Other than that, his resume is pretty thin and he’s getting older by the minute in boxing years.
Hopefully the fight gets made. I’d be happy to be wrong. As long as we fans get the best fighting the best.Comment

I also have followed him since he arrived in Mtl
To bad he’s had so many roadblocks , Michel was a big hurdle

This is one of those fights stylistically, ether Bivol beats Beterbiev straight forward 'And out boxes him over the distance'.
Or Bivol gets overwhelmed and beaten up over the distance and stopped.
I don't really see a middle ground, mainly because? For all of Bivol's skills and abilities, I have not seen much evidence of a inside game.

bivol is the younger faster guy. beterbiev is only getting older. he is pretty slow but his timing is still good. his timing can go any fight now at his age.
I would pick bivol to win too. First thing when dealing with a massive puncher is to have great defense and bivol has that.Comment

yeah he is usually quick enough to avoid having to fight inside, for whatever reason he avoids that and guys havent been able to press him. canelo with his lead feet, bivol was easily able to control the distance.Comment

We haven`t seen the best of Bivol yet. Bring on Canelo rematch or Beterbiev.
Bivol has been the most underrated fighter for many years. I have known that he has been the real deal long before coronavirus times.
It is just about his style and reflexes.Comment

If this fight doesn't get made, and I doubt it will, my bet is that the promoters sink it, just like they did with so many of the other big fights. I do think Beterbiev would have been a massive favorite a couple years ago, and the fight would have been largely overlooked by many. Even on here just a couple years there were several people saying they'd never heard of Bivol and didn't care about LHW or that it was "boxing's easiest division." Now it's looking more and more like Bivol has a good chance. I definitely think it's either Bivol on points or Beterbiev by TKO though.Comment
