There weren't that many people at the bivol fight but it was also at 2am local time so that's a reason too

Hearn has no morals and if he has they are of a rat. Everyone saw recently that until the 11th hour he was still trying to find a way to get a fight going with a guy that had failed two drug tests. Here he talks about his duty as a promoter to get his fighter the biggest purse possible but fails to mention .....HIS AS WELL . Boxing doesn't belong in these countries , the real fans are missing out on special nights through pure greed of this wanker.Comment

Course he is!! Where else is Conor going to fight without worrying about being tested? It’s all coming out. People need to understand the little scheme Eddie has going with Tony Sims in that gym.
They’re all on the gear. Joshua has even been on the gear. Notice how fury never mentions his test anymore? Never mentions how they did him wrong much, does he?
The first fight in AJ whole career where he was subject to Vada testing was the Baby miller fight. Jarell popped and Ruiz came in.
Go watch How Joshua fought off the juice. He was terrible. No endurance whatsoever. Where was the rematch? You know where.
a place Joshua can Take what he wants, when he wants!
Loads are at it. I chose Joshua because he started at Tony’s gym too, he’s the most high profile.Comment

Now we see why he wants wilder to fight AJ in Saudi. To line his pockets and to make himself more successful. Hopefully wilder doesn’t get suckered into that. It appears he has failed in the usa and has been out manoeuvred in the U.K. by Frankie and Queensbury so his only option for big fights is in Saudi. I sincerely hope that no American fighters get suckered into that. I suspect that it’s also a haven for fighters who want to blood dope with performance enhancers. I expect that’s where Benn Jr will be fighting. Bad play by young Edward, but I reckon that’s the hand he now has to playComment

It's a good thing that those Middle Eastern countries have money to burn because they are losing a buttload of it staging fights. It doesn't seem like the locals are into boxing much. I wonder why Vegas has been letting so many fights go over there ? Are they paying so much in site fees that Vegas can't or won't compete ? It used to be that most big fights were in Vegas, or MSG. Then again , it's mostly Europeans fighting in the Middle East.Comment

Asked if such a reliance on the Middle East deprives local fan bases of meaningful fights, Hearn said the number of fights that take place there is still relatively minuscule, so there is no need to be concerned.
“There’s only so many fight nights that they (Middle East) are looking to do,” Hearn said. “And there are a multitude of major fights a year. It’s not like we’re going to see boxing disappear from the United States and the UK. I just feel like this will be another stop for global boxing. Obviously they’re very aggressive. They want to bring big fights here.
Same in the US. The Bivol-Ramirez fight could've been big in somewhere like LA, drawing a lot of casuals in and creating a great atmosphere. Boxing needs more events like that, the sport isn't in a good state imo and needs more fights that casuals can engage with, not less. Taking your stable of fighters off of TV and putting them on an app, moving key fights thousands of miles away, these things don't grow the sport at all.Comment
