Bivol doesn't even want the other belts at 175, so it's all moot.

      Against Jose Miguel Cotto.

Maybe Bivol wont have what you think he will at 168, weight can change things drastically.

Thanks for posting that early Canelo I don't remember seeing that fight he was wobbled good, I think he has matured a bit since then he took bombs from GGG.and never flinched.

If he drops down to become Undisputed at 168, I would make him P4P #1, at least until Usyk becomes Undisputed at HW!

People now trying to find ways to beat Bivol, because he's so difficult to beat.

Who can beat him? Beterbiev? Maybe only Tyson Fury. But it would be ****** for Bivol to drop down in weight to super middle, losing muscle and power in the process.

Did he see what happened to Chad Dawson against Ward, although Bivol is better than Dawson.

Bivol holds the cards for a Canelo rematch. If Canelo wants it again, he's got to go up to Bivol's weight. Bivol is the WBA light heavyweight champion, and he never fought at super middleweight.

After Bivol beats Canelo at 168 what then? Make him drop to 160?

I actually don't understand WHY Bivol should come down to 168.
Bivol never challenged Canelo, Canelo challenged Bivol in his weight class and lost.
If you lose a fight (without a rematch clause), you can't call for a rematch with conditions that favor you.

If Bivol is interested in the money and Canelo's belts he could accept but it's certainly not a duck if he stays in his own weight class.
I don't know if Canelo is willing to put all the belts he's been fighting for all these years in jeopardy in a fight he doesn't need to take against a bigger guy who has already beat him.
When he went up to face Bivol it was (beside reputation) Nothing to Lose, Everything to Gain.
This would be very different. He could lose everything, reputation AND belts. He can't afford this at this stage (age) in his career.

Far too risky IMO. He should forget about his ego, there is really no shame in losing now and then and let this one pass. There are enough fights/opponents for him to still shine.

Canelo's superstar executive privledge shouldn't win the day here. Canelo challenged Bivol and lost. "Next!" should be all Bivol has to say. He want's legacy and that's what Beterbiev brings him.

why doesn't Beterbiev ask to be let go of ESPN instead?

Zurdo is an elite fighter. Bivol made an easy work of him. its a bit surprising. I hope VADA tests were done
