I think that you're selling Morrell Jr short. He's younger, more athletic, faster and hits harder than ginger. I'll be more worry of benavidez than canelo. We can't negate what canelo has accomplished and that he has skills, but he was sold to us as the second coming, which charisma wise, He's up there, not his skills, he's been carefully matched, has avoided all good boxers after Lara's fight until he fought bivol, and they try to gift him the decision, again. If he fights Morrell Jr now, he might have a chance to get a dec, a gifted one. Next year I seen the Cuban closer to completing his development, that will be awesome.

I think you’re underestimating the value of big fight experience, at the very least. Alvarez is a proven commodity. Been so for years. Hi paisano, I understand the value, and there's nothing that can replace experience. But God given talent, can overcome that experience, and that, Morell jr has to spare. The other thing he has is confidence and he's been headlining cards from the very beginning, nothing like canelo, but he have to start somewhere. I only hope he doesn't get affected by his last fight, it was a tragedy. We all shoul be praying for Adios.

Shields is simply trying to divert the attention away from a potential Jermall vs Morrell showdown.

These guys are safe for now being protected from each other until one of them leaves this trainer.

I think Morrell Jr hasn't been protected at all. Just by looking at his last 7 fights we know he's on the fast track
