Now I just read that his opponent is in a medical induced coma. I feel very bad for him because he gave a good effort. Also this might affect mentally Morrell depending on the out come. Morrell did carry the man to the corner when he was in bad shape in a great show of sportsmanship. That indicates that he might be affected by all of this.

I hate to hear that Aidos was seriously hurt. I pray he comes out of this all right. It’s a deadly sport. I’ve never been one to criticize boxers, their handlers or referees for reasonable caution, or ending a fight a little too soon.

His corner should had been very aware since they know him the best. When he was getting pelted in the 10 and 11 round they should had known to do a corner stoppage. He wasn't sustaining an attack and did not appear to have power through out the fight the could had change things.

I know this is all after the fact and great epic fights are because of come backs and surprise endings. But most times it is a sustained beating.

Might beat Plant. Benavidez and Canelo beat him. Ryder might even KO him as a puncher that can somewhat counter. He looks very open with that unorthodox style. Need him in with a top fighter to see if he has the intelligence to make that style work.
