Morrell will be competitive against any top fighter. He showed different skills, 12 rounds stamina and carried his power all the way to the 12th round.

Just got to see how he deals with a skilled puncher to see how his chins holds and how he would deal with adversity.

Pretty much the way I see it. Kid is very good, but he has to continue developing. How many times haven’t we seen a promising talent get smoked when they stepped up?

Yeah, I liked it. Of course, like you said, it remains to be seen how David fares versus real resistance. That is never predictable until you’ve actually seen it.

He's also 8-0. No established fighter should be trying to fight him.

He's with PBC, so why would anyone even expect him to be pitted with the top fighters in the stable? I think he's relatively green to turn down any fight at this point. Expect him to be steered away from any danger that would derail the train. And I also don't think guys like Charlo would be jumping to fight this guy.

It has been a while that I have been impressed with a fighter. On top of that he has very few fights and fought an opponent that never stopped trying to win and was not giving up. Him and Boots are the top up and comers of the sport.

That’s saying something. Had you seen Morrell fight before? I saw him in his third or fourth fight, then once more. He looked very good. Feeling even better about him now. Hope he lives up to the imprsssion.

Now I just read that his opponent is in a medical induced coma. I feel very bad for him because he gave a good effort. Also this might affect mentally Morrell depending on the out come. Morrell did carry the man to the corner when he was in bad shape in a great show of sportsmanship. That indicates that he might be affected by all of this.
