You guys are so weird - the commentary isn’t supposed to be objective. They’re not support to call the fight accurately. That’s not part of it. Both fighters are DAZN fighters so they’re going to call the fight as if it’s an epic back and forth war and both guys are impressive.

Thats their job. It’s the same as Ward and Bradley each talking like one guy is up on ESPN. It’s part of the broadcast to make people think the fight is more exciting than it is.

You WANT it to be objective, but that’s not why it’s there. The commentary is there to try and make the broadcast more exciting and interesting.

In the UK, that means cheerleading the British fighter regardless. In America it means talking about a one sided boxing lesson like it’s a FOTY candidate.

The network tells the guys how they want the fight called - the commentators are just doing their job. Tim Bradley doesn’t actually think these bums they stand up fight Xander Xayas have any chance - he’s just paid to talk about them like they are.
