Plant gases under pressure. Why are people pretending that doesn't happen with him? It happen with Canelo and Uzcategui late. Dirrell was too shot and worn. Short Bread isn't going to compensate for that issue. Benavidez will take control of the fight around the 7-8th. No Benavidez fan but Plant ain't stopping him and Benavidez is coming with high exhausting volume. Benavidez SD or UD. UD looks better to bait Canelo

If he loses, he gotta retire. All gates will be closed for him.

If he loses, he can come back and fight Morrell, Charlo or a different top 10 opponent and be right back. Far too young to retire.

If he wins, no guarantee Canelo will fight him. He's already said he won't fight Mexicans so he has an excuse to duck even if Benavidez beats Plant.

plant is pretty low risk for benavidez. it finally gets him a name of someone not shot. He can probably stop plant sooner than canelo and claim that deserves him the fight while avoiding the better fighters out there, avoiding everyone at 175.
