    1. Canelo is on record stating that he wouldn’t rematch Bivol if he lost to Ramírez. 2. Should Ramírez win, Canelo is also on record stating he wouldn’t fight another Mexican.

fight hard and win for yourself.. 'ducknelo' cares NOTHING about you.. mexico.. or his brainwashed racist manfans.. 'ducknelo' uses anything he can think of to avoid a tough fight.. 'ducknelo's massive following is the reason the 168lb division is being held hostage.. all credible boxing fans regardless of race knows bivol was a cherry pick gone wrong.. 'ducknelo' needs to retire.. and dont even try to compare 'ducknelo' s 168lb avoiding any real competition to ESJ dominance at 147lb.. even wit injuries and accidents he comes back and fight champions. skill wise 'ducknelo' hasnt improved since his loss to floyd... look at his opposition and the punches he still gets hit wit.. if mexican fans werent so racist they could see this.. but mexian legends see it and speak on it.. mexican racist fans dismiss the truth as jealousy.. you cant make this up

You know Oscar cooked up that cornball statement. Ramirez is there for the win and Oscar is there for Canelo's fan base.

Mexicans are tribal, If Ramirez can beat the man that beat THIER man, the Mexican fan base will eat it up. Two birds, one stone.

The irony for Oscar is that while Mexico supported Oscar when he fought most fighters, the entire country of Mexico turned against him when he fought JCC. So at times, Mexico lived vicariously through Oscar, and now Oscar lives vicariously through Ramirez. It's neither good, bad, or ugly, it just is what it is. Loyalty always binds and semi-loyalty is conditional.

"Avenge Canelo's Loss For Mexico" implies that Canelo is the victim and Ramirez the hero that will vindicate Mexico. To regain hero status Canelo will need to either beat Bivol or Ramirez or accept that his star is fading. The Mexican fan base will see Ramirez as their angel of vengeance

What if Ramirez beats the Russian and Oscar refuses to fight Canelo or Benavidez because they're Mexican?

If Ramirez wins, Oscar would probably try to get Ramirez a fight with Canelo to avenge Oscar for Canelo leaving him.

This is a LEGITIMATELY GOOD FIGHT!! Bivol proved to the naysayers that he was a cherry pick gone wrong and Zurdo is a monster. A classic match-up between a highly skilled Boxer (Bivol ) and a definitive puncher with skill in Ramirez.
That to the side, this narrative about doing this for Mexico etc....is a bit annoying. I can understand tribalistic loyalty but this very thing is a good part of why you have so much r@ce baiting dynamics on social media from emotional fans of the sport. Canelo used this narrative to avoid Benavides and Zurdo. Can you imagine if Erroll Spence made the declaration that he would not fight any black fighters?? I think we all know how that would go down. NOT WELL.
Ramirez should just say he's doing this for HIMSELF period because the truth is HE'S THE ONE going in the ring, not his amped up Fans promoting" La Raza". At any rate this is a good scrap and one l'm looking forward to!
