Manny Pacquiao vs. Floyd Mayweather. Why I view Manny as a VERY dangerous opponent.

Good analysis DS and I agree on the Judah comparison. The question I have is what happens when Floyd adjusts to Pac. Will Pac switch up? I think Pac will win the first 2 or 3 rounds. Also some round in the middle of the fight. However one Floyd adjusts he is food. If he can pull out a plan b c or even D, this fight will be very interesting.

Mayweather will adjust but Pacquiao isn't mentally weak. I can see Pacquiao still throwing punches, regardless of anything.

Lets wait and see. Pacquiao couldn't take out a weight drained Oscar, Oscar quit. But he did K.O Hatton in 2. We should wait untill November, to see if Pacquiao does have more power then Zab. Zab was able to hurt Cotto, if Pacquiao can't do the same, then we know. As for speed, alot of people say Pacquiao is faster, I don't see it. Pacquiao is slightly slower in my opinion but it could be debated.

Marquez isn't mentally weak either. Pacs best chance is to employ Joe Calzaghes style. Don't try to pressyre with selected shots, just pressuer and throw everything, and dont stop for 12 rounds.

definitely a great idea.. pac has to capture the eye of the judges and award him rounds on pure aggression and punch output..

My analysis would suck if Pacquiao doesn't have the power to hurt Cotto. That right there would change everything. Jesus Chavez isn't anything like Pacquiao but people need to watch that fight.

dude, what Pac did against Hatton and DLH is absolutely pointless.

look at the damage Forbes caused to DLH's face. DLH wasnt healthy, he couldnt even block punches which he normally does. so Pac fighting him means nothing at all.

Hatton was detroyed mentally by floyd, he lost all compsure soon as the bell rang. he stuck to his game plan longer against mayweather b.c he never had a true ass whooping and his confidence had never been crushed until May.

so stop mentioning DLH and Hatton like they are meeasuring sticks for pac against another fighter. especially the best in FLoyd

Judah was a better counter puncher and quicker with the powershots.

**** i give his analysis a F- here why to begin with people for get that judah is a real welter weight that could hurt may and pac is not and that alone makes a huge difference. pac has and will never be able to fight a smart offensive fight he just doest have the skills to do it or the brains. pac is very sloppy when he attacks and leaves himself open to counters.you need to be an intelligent fighter to beat may. if pac was a real welter weight then yes pac would murder him. at the end of the day pac aint big enough or smart enough to beat floyd

Judah is not a real WW. In fact he came into the ring against Clottey weighing only 147 lbs. There isn't evidence to suggest that he hits harder than Pac.

I think Judah had pretty decent success against Floyd for the first 4 rounds or so, and I think Pac can continue similar success for 12 rounds. While Pac's defense is inferior to Marquez, Floyd will have to concentrate a lot more on his own defense, which will diminish his offense. Floyd relies a lot on reflexes, which is harder against a much faster puncher (than Marquez,) like Pac.

I still favor Floyd to beat Pac, but it would be close. Pac is bigger, stronger and much quicker with footwork and punches than Marquez.
