Benavidez needs to win this to keep his hopes of fighting Canelo. If Plant wins, and I think he can, no way does Canelo fight Benavidez ever, since he's already beaten Plant. We'll see if he actually signs the contract on his side.

How is plant a number one contender, he lost to Canelo and only beat Durrell.. David should be the only number one contender, they be giving these white boys all the benefits.. you lost plant earn your number one spot.. fighting an old Durrell shouldn’t earn him that spot.. he didn’t lose to Canelo by a decision he got ko’d, he needs to start over again.. David shouldn’t have to fight him to get his mandatory in.. when he had the belt he wouldn’t give David a chance, but now David has to fight him to get his shot at a 3rd belt??
