I can see your point from a fan's perspective of wanting to see the best fights Im there as well, but calling easy fights happens with all promoters, I think if we had a list of all the fights promoted they are all guilty of it, and all have put on big ones as well, I think its just a complicated mess where there are too many Chiefs and not enough Indians.
Like I said, they make more per fight, but fight less often and fight overmatched opponents, and that's just fine with a lot of the new generation, thats why they don't often complain. But Broner just left PBC, sonask him what's going on over there. the ones that don't sign with PBC are the ones who don't like that business model, ppl who wanna stay active and make the best fights possible, ppl who are a little more of independent thinkers and less sheep- minded
Its funny watching people agree with Oscar slamming PBC yet the same people were slamming Oscar when he was promoting Floyd to get the Manny fight, then it was Arum is the man and Oscar was a liar, my take is promoters are businessmen and what they do goes on behind closed doors and we are not privy to it, fans taking sides of promoters is being driven by their favourite fighter more so than the promoter, Haymon's links to Floyd is a big part of the hate he gets, I got no doubt promoters will feather their own nest first whether its Haymon Hearn or Arum, they all in the same boat.Comment

That isn't even Spence writing that. He has a ghost writer for his twitter account. He went from a ton of slang in his usual tweets to coherent sentences. At least Cokehead's sounds consistent with his usual tweets.Comment

De La Hoya is more often than not a jive talking clown, but I have to agree with him this time. Haymon's PBC are indeed a cancer in boxing. It's true that many of his fighters barely fight once a year and usually against hand picked patsies that Haymon also controls. That's why Mayweather hid from Pacquiao for 3 years and why Wilder turned down $20m purses against Klitchko and Joshua in sellout stadiums, to instead fight Haymon-controlled pensioner Ortiz for barely $2m in a school gym sized arena. Today, Control freak Haymon doesn't want to risk his biggest cash cow against a fighter as dangerous as Crawford, even if Spence is technically the favourite.Comment

I don't agree. I believe Wilder, Spence, and Tank are at "Superstar" status. The Charlo Brothers, Ruiz, are close, followed by David Benavidez! My point about Top Rank is, why did Oscar, Floyd, Cotto, Mikey, Pacquiao, and Crawford all leave Top Rank? Why all the lawsuits, or threats of lawsuits? If they're so great, why did all the Superstars haul ass up outta there?
