Well said. Neither guy is as clever and as shrewd as he thinks he is - and isn’t clever and shrewd enough to realize that. This fight will never get made and I’m fine with that. Garcia-Tank, Wilder against anybody, Bivol-Bertabiev and Usyk-Fury are the fights I want see to see, though I doubt Usyk-Fury happens either.

No matter who is lying and who is telling the truth, its very sad for boxing. It always appears like Al Haymon is in the shadows holding back the fight, because he obviously has all the power to make it happen. PBC is scared to lose one of their major players. They put too much value on their fighters keeping their zero intact... they try to stack the deck so far in their favor that they almost can't lose, but in this case, talent will win in the end. They're trying to wait for Bud to lose a step and they feel time is on Errol's side if they drag it out as much as possible. This is very sad for boxing history, and could end up like how Charley Burley and Eddie Booker, or Ray Leonard and Aaron Pryor never got to face eachother.
