This tune up notion, seems to be a trend in boxing these days.

I must admit that it is ridiculous.

Thurman has resume superior to Crawford's and has only 1 loss, to a legend. He would KO Avanesyen the same as Bud knows that he's going to.

Thurman is not even in the same class as Avanesyen, it would be a bloodbath type of KO. Compare Thurman's opponents to Crawford's if you want to laugh. Thurman has fought much harder competition, and his only loss is to Pacquiao which was a close fight, but Manny won due to the knockdown.
