If he wasn't confident in beating Charlo then that's when gotta worry.
Being Aussie and our heritage I know Tim will go out on his shield to try ultimately seems like a huge ask.
Atleast he wants it and thats good for boxing
Am putting some good coins on Tszyu for this fight. Last time, Jermell fought a puncher in Rosario he was getting the work. If only Rosario could take the incoming punches, that fight would have been very interesting. He hasn't fought a puncher since then and for all indication, it looks like Tsyzu can hit hard but yet to see if he can hold up to Charlo's punches too. Charlo should be favored but I am betting the upset here. I love his confidence.
If you are right, i will happily tip the cap to you. But I can tell you I have picked against the Charlo brothers fairly often early on... and would be broke right now if I had been dumb enough to bet against them. Mell has fought all the best at 154 and he has learned from his "non-wins". I think this is over within the distance. If not, it will likely be a wide UD for Charlo. I like Tszyu and respect him for going after this fight, but he is nowhere near as battle tested or as technically sound.
So do I and I can safely say you are in the minority, the Australian Russian community is riiiiiiiiiiight up behind Tim! He has destroyed everyone that has been put in front of him, and once he knocks out Charlo everyone on here will be eating humble pie!
Im an aussie and Tim is going to get stopped, he has fought nobody near this class, Tim trys to box the same style as Kostya but is not half as good.
Charlo started talking about moving up as soon he knew Crawford coming to 154.
Why would he be afraid of a bumbeater. Jermall would stretch him. Kavaliauskas had his knees knocking and puny Gamboa rung his bell. Charlo KOs him in short fashion.
