Chisora is only getting 2 Mill for the Fury fight. When you compare that to the purses AJ gives opponents, even those less popular than Chisora, it just shows what a joke Fury and Warren are.

However, Fury was the real fighter and star against Wilder. Wilder was, and is, a nobody.

Here is the HUGE Question though, who puts the money up to actually Organize the Event? Unless it is Bud Crawford putting some of that money up himself to get the ball roll on this event...he is in NO POSITION to ask for Transparency. You know who get Transparency? INVESTORS! Networks people who are actually putting the money up PRE FIGHT.

What I think is that Fight Fans actually think that Fighters are ONLY getting paid off of Ticket Sales and PPV Buys and that is simply not true. Al, Bob, Eddie, Oscar..."The Power That Be" in boxing, their job is to Organize the Event and get the money together for the Event. These people have Relationship they've developed over Decades so they're able to get certain Venues, Site Fees, International Rights Money and all type of stuff that we fans really don't know about and don't understand

Far from EASY! Rachel Donaire really shed light on just the overall "BUSINESS" of boxing and because it was what some Bud Fans did not want to hear, they tried to label this Woman some "PBC Shill" but the Lady is far more Qualified to talk about the Business of boxing than Any of us, being that she managed her Husband's Great Career for YEARS!

If Fans think it is easy then they should find some young fighters, sign them up and make them stars. I see a lot of fans THINK they know more than Haymon and these other guys who been in this business for DECADES, they should prove it and help make a Superstar bigger than Floyd Mayweather!

Good F^CKING LUCK! Until that happens, yeah I just cannot take anybody serious who honestly think that Haymon somehow doesn't know what he is doing after all these years

as the lead promoter, PBC would incur all the advance expenses. But they really arent all that much, maybe a couple hundred thousand in ancillary expenses. Most everything else would be terms net 30 from the event date, especially if it involves vendors PBC works with regularly.

And as you pointed out, there are MANY different revenue streams, some big, some small. PPV sales, overseas rights sales, live gate, sponsorships, rebroadcast rights, merchandise, etc etc all add up in the end......

But hey, to Crawford’s credit he will retire a wealthy man having never been able to sell a PPV and only filling stadiums and arenas in Nebraska. I reckon that counts for something
We can say the same thing about the Charlo brothers, Tank, maybe even Spence and Haney if they don’t fight the best of their respective divisions going forward.

That is the thing, Promoters Take Loses "A LOT" when they agree to pay a fighter that huge Guarantee, they have to give him that no matter how good or bad the event does they can't tell a fighter "I Know I Promised You $5 Million But The Event Flopped So I Can Only Give You $1.5 Million"

This is why Arum talks about the money he lost on Crawford because no matter how bad those Events did, he still had to pay Crawford but Arum has a Consistent Yearly Budget from ESPN so he can take that L and recover with no problem. Now think about a promoter without a major Backing like ESPN, DAZN and Showtime and how they try to Organize Fights and Pay Fighters. Plenty of fighters who complained about not being paid from Triller as well as other Small Time Hole In A Wall "Janky Promoters". Just seen Mickey Bey and Tevin Farmer try to do their own event and that was a complete disaster, fight was Cancel the Night Of wasting both fighters time because "Promoter Did Not Have The Money"

This boxing stuff is just not easy, I wish it was as simple as Fighter A and Fighter B agrees to fight and fight is on.

I do think ALI ACT needs to be revised putting Control in fighters hands, no Promoter, NETWORK or APP, Adviser, Manager or whatever should be able to prevent fights that both fighters clearly wants

I can't dislike any fighter that much. A fighter with TC's caliber being offered zero guarantee is absolute crap. I have said my piece. You can disagree to agree.
            I didn't contradict ****. You're not comprehending.

Everything Arum, Hearn, Oscar and other have said about Bud just came to fruition again. He's made a career out of this. Fighting fringe guys for big purses, so he expects the moon for real threats.

I dont fault PBC for not offering any guaranteed money, because its VERY hard to predict the buys for this type of fight. It could do 750k, or it could do 225k. Nobody knows. But if youre not going to put up a guarantee, then you MUST open the books so the other side can see that you acted properly during the promotion. NOBODY is going to just blindly trust the other side. And PBC wouldnt just blindly trust Arum, or Hearn, or anyone else on a split promotion. They would rightfully want transparency. Its a reasonable request under the circumstances.

As for your point about not allowing promotors or managers to prevent fights, thats really not as simple as it seems. Yes, it sucks sometimes that certain fights cant get made. But if a promoter or manager has spent several years and several hundred thousand dollars developing a fighter up to a certain point, he may not want to throw his guy in that type of fight at that particular moment. Or maybe the economics of that particular fight dont make sense at the moment. That promoter or manager PAID for the right to make those decisions. The fighter sold that right in order to have the safety net of guaranteed fights and guaranteed purses in his promotional contract. The flip side of that is he might not get every fight he wants, the moment that he wants it.

Boxing is a nasty business. I ran shows from 1999-2011. I promoted probably 60 of my own shows, and co-promoted another dozen or more with Golden Boy, Don King, Gary Shaw, Dibella, etc. It's definitely not a good way to make a living. And these days anytime someone tells me they want to do shows and want me as a consultant, I steal the line from Vegas Vacation. I tell them to give me HALF the money they were going to invest in a show, we can step out back, I'll kick them in the nuts, and we'll call it a day! LOL

Just like Spence said, Crawford will run he was never serious, that’s why Arum never offered another contract because he wanted lots of money fighting weak competition, like Arum said “I aint going bankrupt promoting him, I loss money on his last 3 fights”

Errol has come out and said, he was given transparency, everything was in writing complete transparency to all accounting and revenue, given in a written draft, he said for TC to show the public the draft.

                  Man this is getting ridiculous.
