Make it happen now. No sense in delaying it.

its not an unreasonable position when you consider that stevenson, tank, and garcia are also at the weight. Its not inconceivable to rank 2 of those 3 higher than Haney, despite the belts......

Arum is going ask Haney to sign a long term deal with Top Rank or no fight.

The fight is already spelled out in Haney’s contract.. dude signed a binding deal with Top Rank that detailed all of his fights in his 4 fight agreement

Haney's contract with TR doesn't prevent him from moving up to 140 but he'll probably take the Lomachenko fight since that's the biggest pay day out of the opponents he can realistically fight next.

Hard to see LOma beating Haney at this point of their careers

There is no reason to sacrifice Loma to Haney. Because that's what it would be. He's MUCH bigger, younger, and stronger. Loma looked hard pressed to handle the size of his last couple opponents. He needs to go back down in weight. You just hate Loma and want to see him lose if you want this fight. I'd rather see Haney in with younger guns dudes who arent midgits who will make it a competitive fight like Zepeda or even even lets see what Haney does with Ortiz. Personally Id rather see him in there with Teo or finally get the fight with Garcia because Ive been waiting for it. Even smaller yet younger Stevenson and Tank have a better shot at Haney than Loma does. Im not sure Loma could even beat those two anymore. They really rushed in the ring to force this matchup and if I were Loma I'd avoid it like the plague and go back down and retire on a high note.

Yeah, he is, but I kinda like him, he's cool enough. Ward gotten better but I always feel like Andre Ward is describing the fights he wants to see than the one Im watching. Duke Ragan for example. Ward was telling me all the greatness of Ragan until he was getting blasted then started talking how awesome he is at knowing just what to do when he gets hurt and how special that is. He nut hugs the house fighter and friends of his like Shakur way too much.
