of course not. prime lewis would of beaten the brakes off of wladimir and would of likely decisioned vitali in a somewhat competitive fight.

His defense is just using his reach and leaning back out of reach for counters, if he was a smaller man that would get him knocked out.
That's a ridiculous thing to say, if he was smaller he wouldn't fight exactly the way he does. And duh Mayweather is more skilled, ever seen a 6'5" guy do the shoulder roll and ducking? There is a reason all these defensive specialists are small guys, it's easier to move your body...

          Willie Pep - Featherweight
          Floyd - Welterweight
          Sweet Pea - Welterweight

The lb4lb comparisons of Floyd and Wlad are idiotic. If Floyd was Wlad's size he wouldn't be able to do what he does in the ring.

To be fair to Wlad, it's mostly because the other heavyweights he fights don't bother to get in shape, or they may have the physical advantage over him.

              What problems?

Thompson is a 6'6 250 lbs tough awkward SOUTHPAW with good defense, high guard, high workrate, Wlad did what a great champion is supposed to do and ADJUSTED to Thompson's awkward southpaw style, Wlad completely dominated Thomspon and knocked him the **** out, what more do you want? And Wlad actually showed a good chin in that fight, he took flush shots from Big Tony and didn't even flinch, he was NEVER hurt by Thompson. I only gave Thompson one round, Wlad was dominating the fight 9-1 when he destroyed Thompson with the steelhammer right hand.

like i said,a 'dominant' KO (haha i had too) over a b-class fighter doesnt answer the question
wlad and vitali need a great win on their resume's,and i feel sorry for them that it will never happen
