And if that guy is former cross-country skiing world champion you can also say you beat ex world champion. But he has to be 40+ years old to impress these people here

      Define a "boxer" for us.

Is a man who works a day job, but rocks up for paycheques to lose in the ring more credible than defeating high level MMA fighters?

And Anderson is the only one who even within an MMA context displayed any kind of technical boxing ability, and even with him his striking game was more like some weird funky flashy version of muay thai than pure boxing. He never looked like an explosive puncher either, just good accuracy and timing and hitting people with 4oz gloves.

Askren was possibly the worst striker in UFC history. Like off the top of my head the only guy i can think of that might be less of a threat standing is Royce 30 ****ing years ago. The guy was an olympic wrestler for ****s sake and Jake boxed him.

Woodley is quick and can crack but his striking game is tied to his wrestling game. He would pounce and people wouldnt know if he was gonna shoot in for a takedown or punch them, which would open them up. Take the wrestling threat away and put him in big gloves and hes been mostly neutered.
