This would certainly be a good fight, andrade hasn't done himself any favours; not building Up a decent fanbase or taken on meaningful opposition, then he says in the interview he has to take on a soft touch to knock off some ring rust, well he seems to be his own worse enemy.

What pisses me off is that he's had a year now to "tune up". What have you been doing?!!! Out of work for a year?? And it's normal. Can these guys please bother to check in to work one time in a year? I mean, I just read about a prospect fighting another hopeless bum. Can you please at least do that??? Boxing today just sucks.

If Andrade was behind on a mortgage, owed back taxes, or something of that nature, he would have fought 2-3 times this year. Fighters these days at the higher levels make so much money that they can coast for 6 months to a year. Then sometimes an opponent comes along who comes from a place of no money and is hungry and determined and upsets the elite fighter. Andrade does not have the hunger for boxing or he would have been itching to get into the ring. Now it is near a "What could have been" scenario with his career. When I saw him in his early pro fights, he looked great and the expectations were high. Really anticlimactic career.
