Hearn has always taken pride in being the most accessible promoter in boxing, smart enough to answer questions from anybody about anything without slipping up and saying something he really shouldn't have said. Looks like trying to do that in the situation he's in now has driven him to the edge of a nervous breakdown and he's decided ... fuck it, I'm just going to tell them everything and deal with the consequences.

I don't know about Conor Benn's future, but boxing's future for a couple of months or year without him is looking great. I'm laughing at the regular snag-tooth Brits losing their minds over this bum

eddie says u have to be responsible for whats found in your system at the very least, but dillion whyte got off scott free and demands an apology just like little benn is wanting to do as well, what a clown hearn is and a farce boxing drug testing is, these guys have no shame whatsoever, u pop u get banned, u are responsible for whats in your body, excuses are too easy and lame for the most part, same thing over and over again

It's a really sad situation. I won't comment if Conor knowingly took the illegal substance or not.

His career could be in great jeopardy, and I'm not sure which boxing commissions would allow him to fight. But I don't know what the stance is of the boxing boards' in the Middle East and the rest of Europe.

this is how boxing works, u stage an event u want the best judges for u, u have one of your guys pop, you want the best hearing for you, now eddie is demanding a hearing before he works with benn, before he pretended not to hear benn had popped and full steam ahead, selective hearing i think

just line up the guys who cleared dillion, cant get better than those guys surely

If the big promoters really wanted to stamp on PED use they would insert random year round VADA testing into all of their contracts - and pay for it - stipulating that a failure will be publicised, reported to the athletic/licencing boards, sanctioning bodies, WADA, sponsors, etc and also result in the automatic termination of any contractual agreements.

But they won't because they don't!

hes a god fearing man, what sort of drivel is this, he fears his career never taking off u mean

eddies method of dealing with drug cheats, if he 'feels' they didnt cheat then thats good enough, its all about the feeling, no point in harming their careers in this case
