He has no license so it cannot be suspended now. This is damage control.

He is a cheater and was busted. His team, Hearn included, clearly advised him this was the best route to go.

He'll lay low for a year, clean out his system, pass a couple tests and apply for a license again.
Even they must have a better idea than that. I was up for listening to the excuse as we were told we should .....This will come back to haunt him and his sidekick Edward who is standing by his actions. Surely this can't be their conclusion ..........we will see!!!!

Ofc, but he'll need to cycle off first, which is why that December date, and every prospective AJ fight date Hearn gives, gets missed by 2 months minimum.

This means having to endure haters for a little while longer, but Joshua's pro enough to realize it's better to have that, than to get popped in amateur fashion and lose your entire career.

No-one picking up on the fact he was charged with misconduct? Defined as behaviour detrimental to the interests of boxing.

I don't think BBBofC can charge him for doping. That's UKAD's job. If UKAD sanction him, the Board would cancel his licence. But how can UKAD charge him? He hasn't failed a UKAD test. UKAD have said they're investigating him - which presumably involves looking at his UKAD tests and determining that this voluntary test by a non-WAD accredited body must have been impacted by low levels of contamination. What other outcome can they come up with? Will they publicly conclude that their own testing is ineffective?

I still think he ends up in the clear, albeit with a PR problem to fix. He'll either be licenced elsewhere, citing unfair treatment by the Board, or he'll challenge the Board's actions and get his licence back.

Connor has just released a statement.
Licence lapsed, and clarifying that the misconduct charge isn't to do with the VADA issue. Also goes on the attack against the Board's actions and claims an independent tribunal will clear him.
