yeah, and the same sources said Floyd was "struggling" in sparring. I love it- they should say more! As if non-drinking, non-smoking, staying within your weight class on a consistent level was ever gonna make a superior athlete look *bad*??

I miss the old freddie roach. He was above all of this.

Oh, it was all TRUE, I don't dispute it, and I am not speaking against Mr. Roach. I'm just saying, how can he be so down on Floyd, when Manny hasn't done anything too incredible? Who couldn't have beaten Oscar or Ricky on those nights? You do those things to your body, thats what happens. Anyone working in professional boxing knows it!
i think the burden of proof is on you. everyone and his neighbor knows that 140 is ricky's turf. he went up 147 and he almost lost. even ricky say's no one beats me at my division.

Thats rickys own fault, he should have taken on mayweather when they were both at the division at the same time. Instead he chose to fight carlos maussa. He then moved up to 147 exclusively to fight floyd mayweather and got a strap against luis collazo.

Ricky was constantly "not ready" and by the time he was, mayweather had already moved up. Besides, i can remember the "no excuses" thread on here back in 2007, talking about how ricky was going to come in strong and how he wouldnt have to worry about cutting weight by fighting at 147. Ricky and his trainer were talking about how much stronger they were at that weight. This is why i dont buy the "floyd didint beat him at his best division".

Ricky was linear champ and still said he wasnt ready for mayweather back in 2005. Thats his own fault.

there is no burden of proof on me, sire. if you think i'm a liar, little i can do about it. i have nothing to gain by making up stuff freddie roach said, and i'm not inclined enough to research the tons of interviews he gave leading up to the fight just to say "i win". again, i only repeated what he said. and my point is, it's hard to look perfect when you boast about people being shot fighters and so forth.

People actin' like what Roach is saying isn't true..

                      Marquez isn't a WW.
Floyd looked good beating him 'cause he was fighting a guy that had no chance against him.
