David bought in as the sacrificial lamb. They will hype him up as the European champ that has won a few fights in a row (non descriptive opponents)

Avanesyan ducks Vergil Ortiz then leapfrogs over him in the rankings to get a title shot against Dud Crawford.

            Only in boxing, folks.

Why don't Vergil Ortiz and Jarrod Ennis fight each other?

Ennis signed a multi-fight deal with Showtime back in March , and Ortiz is with GBP on DAZN.

Not sure about that, Kavaliauskas beat Avanesyan fairly easy & stopped him in 5 or 6 rounds from what I remember.

Ava has looked better since though
