Bivol didn’t EASILY beat Canelo because of lack of motivation. He won BIG because of his unbelievable control of distance, awesome footwork, great defense and size advantage. To offset this takes a fighter with fast feet and reach. Canelo has neither. Bad style matchup. Unless Bivol goes downhill drastically, he will ALWAYS beat Canelo.

I mean, Dimitry isn’t obligated to give canelo a rematch if he so chooses not to. However, considering canelo is smaller, and will give Bivol his highest pay day ever.. it’d be a bad look on Bivol if team Canelo sends them a contract and he declines… just my opinion… so yes I hope he grows a pair and signs that sh.it if it lands on his desk!

Canelo is a steroid cheat with the judges in his pockets. He is a slow, come-forward plodding Mexican fighter who made a career of looking “fast” compared to B-level or faded punch-drunk boxers. Bivol showed him up and now he’s back to fighting the B-levelers and the old men like GGG and Kova.
