Good luck trying to get showtime to work with dazn. Unless someone crosses the street to someone's broadcaster this ain't happening. Possibly if they let dazn broadcast in some major european markets/international markets an they have the soul US rights they could maybe get it done but it's sounds like barriers as always.

GTFO DAZN they want to use this fight to grow their Subscription base while fans don't give a damn about your Subscription Base we want the fight
Showtime gets U.S. Territory while DAZN can have certain Countries Simple whoever putting up the most money is in chargeComment

Garcia is one of their biggest growing stars. It’s likely that he gets ktfo & his stock takes a huge hit. It’s understandable that they want everything they can get out of this dealComment

Which all means sheeit cause tank is bound to get his period on the day of the fight and have to cancel.Representatives for Gervonta Davis and Ryan Garcia are inching toward a deal for the undefeated rivals to square off in a 136-pound fight at some point in January.

DAZN deserves a percentage. They help Ryan to grow into a star one way or another. Showtime needs to work with others or they will go down **** hole.Comment

I just hope it actually happens as it would be an entertaining fight and should be good action between both. I've seen Tank take some flush shots on the chin and not budge from guys a lot bigger than him, can't say the same about Ryan.
I think Garcia has enough power in the left hand to take anyone out but can he land it flush on Tank? I think Gervonta's size is going to cause some issues unless Ryan's hand speed is really that good because he's small enough to stay underneath those hooks and has good enough footwork to get in and out.Comment

Skeptical that it happens. They can have everything hammered out but the resolution of broadcast issue is biggest issue.
DAZN should get compensation commensurate with Garcia's drawing power for the event. I can't tell you what that is and I don't know details of the agreement or the fighters' previous revenue generation.
I don't think it's likely Showtime and DAZN come.to an agreement.Comment

Why don’t they just each broadcast the fight and promote their respective fighters, in this case showtime would have it on SHOWTIME PPV and promote tank as the “good guy” and DAZN would stream/PPV it themselves and promote the bout as Ryan Garcia being the “good guy”… each would use their own methods and tactics to promote and market the bout to their liking, and have their respective broadcasting team the night of the fight and the winner gets 60 loser gets 40 of the whole pie simple plucking fix smh… greedy ASS-holes!!!! We just want the damn fight damn it!Comment
