B-Hop wasnt jut as good as he is now, that he is older. B-Hop wasnt as crafty or good defensively as he is now.

Calzaghe was great in his prime, too bad, that RJJ never wanted to fight him(RJJ himself said that) when They both where young. b-Hop wasnt on anybodys radar, so i dont blame him.

Calzaghe had the tools to beat anyone!!!!!
I could also say that Calzaghe faced absolutely nothing like a prime RJJ. Not to mention, you said RJJ didn't want Calzaghe, but Calzaghe himself said he wouldn't fight RJJ unless it was for the crown ***els.

Hopkins being more offensive would've him IMO. Calzaghe got hit with a decent number of rights, and a younger Hopkins with better stamina would've done it more.

I'm not saying that they would've easily beat Calzaghe because he was a very good fighter.

It doesnt matter what Roy said... you heard joe right there.

He didnt think he could even beat Roy.

Youll never hear Roy say he doesnt think he could of beat Joe... just that it wasnt worth it at the time to fight him.

Who was Joe Calzaghe in 2003 anyways?

              SO why ruin it?
I so agree. RJJ lost his killerinstinct I'd say, and I somehow feel BH still got a little left.

Damn I would love this fight. Both great at entertaining in their own way.

Both old, but great names and fighters.

I really got Roy on this. I know Bernard is the one on form, but Roy just has it in him to outwork Bernard with his speed. I don't think he's quite fast enough to pot shot and move away from Roy.

My brain tells me Bernard, my heart tells me Roy. Thsi is what boxing is about thoguh

That would be a great fight card, it's what boxing needs.

Not very interested in this fight, but I'll probably watch it. Should have happened about 200 years ago.

At that time Roy was something else. It doesn't mean he aint beatable when you get in the ring. Roy himself didn't want to fight Joe in wales. I know it's fair for him to say it, but still.
