Shields calling herself the greatest woman of all time does sound like a page out of Ali's book. But with each fight, she is proving herself. She has to market herself as a woman boxer because women's boxing needs champions like Shields to help with the marketability of the sport. While I know of better women fighters in the past, none of them marketed themselves the same way. Shields is getting there.

Ali was a beast and deserves the title GOAT Floyd doesn't, there can't be more than one "GOAT".

If we're keeping it 100 Floyd fought what? two "prime" fighters in Corrales and Canelo.

And even that's arguable, he micro managed his career to perfection unlike Ali who fought the who's who of his era and ended the reign of one of the most feared heavyweights in Liston.

Mayweather comparatively is a joke in terms of boxing, marketing genius but in terms of fighting the fights just NO.
