Perfect time for one or both to call out Spence. Too soon maybe to be fighting each other, the risk reward is low. Not so with Spence, win and go to the head of the class Lose but give a good account of yourself and your stock still rises.
Boots and Vergel, the heir apparents

Par the course, media gives the pass to Crawford for fighting a lesser opponent, whilst Spence is the only one REQUIRED to face every member of the young guard in Stanionis, Ortiz, and Ennis.
Now, I don't have a problem with Spence fighting these guys, but it must happen after Spence-Crawford. -
Lol, required? Crawford, as it turns out, decided to take a big payday while waiting for the PBC wheels to grind out some more contract conditions.Par the course, media gives the pass to Crawford for fighting a lesser opponent, whilst Spence is the only one REQUIRED to face every member of the young guard in Stanionis, Ortiz, and Ennis.

I only mentioned Spence instead of Crawford as he’s the one of the two not currently doing anything.
The people being victimized here are the fans of the sport, not Spence or PBC. Just the opposite in fact.Comment

Neither getting a shot at Bud or Spence at 147 at least maybe 154 but at 147 not likely not only that but if you're Cameron Dunkin whp Promotes Boots and GBP who Promote Vergil...do you even want to rush them in with those guys right now? Not just talking about just any world Champions you're talking about ELITE Fighters who are both in most Top 5 P4P
I see WTF happened to Fenando Vargas when they threw him in with Oscar and Trinidad rather early he never really recovered from it. It is different when you get in with the Elites compared to just knocking out Mid Level Contenders on the way up
so as a fan of BOTH fighters, I don't think they're ready for those guys just yetLast edited by sicko; 10-22-2022, 12:58 PM.Comment

I don’t think that Vargas would have beaten either no matter how long he prepared. How much better do you think Boots will get fighting the level of fighters he’s fighting? Unlike Vergel, Boots had an excellent Amateur career, I don’t know how much more ready he’s going to get.
Vergel has improved a lot in the pros. I don’t know how much more ready he’ll be after facing a guy like Stanionis, who in my opinion is a level below the Mean Machine.

Other than Stanionis, Ennis and Ortiz Is there any other upcoming fighters at welterweight to look out for?
Danny Garcia moved up in fear of becoming used as a steppingstone for rising contenders, Keith Thurman looked quite vulnerable Mario Barrios who was knocked out by a lightweight, Conor Benn could be banned temporarily for a long period of time, and Yordenis Ugas is on his way out.
The top 10 ranking fighters aren't really recognizable names.
All I know that there is Rashidi Ellis who was benched by GBP was just signed at PBC, Alexis Rocha and possibly Josh Taylor.Last edited by Malvado; 10-22-2022, 04:36 PM.Comment

He has had 30 fights, when the hell are you going to fight them? When they are old men? They are both overrated and not on the Dela Hoya level so if they think boots is that good then he is ready. Vargas had a great fight with Oscar anyway. Your garbage mentality is exactly what is wrong with boxing today. Pathetic.Neither getting a shot at Bud or Spence at 147 at least maybe 154 but at 147 not likely not only that but if you're Cameron Dunkin whp Promotes Boots and GBP who Promote Vergil...do you even want to rush them in with those guys right now? Maybe Ryan and Devin will get there eventually too but really I don’t see any worthy challengers other than Boots and Vergel. I might be missing someone, if so, maybe somebody will throw their name out there.Other than Stanionis, Ennis and Ortiz Is there any other upcoming fighters at welterweight to look out for?

I am not sure if they if either Jaron and Vergil will stick around long enough if they are just moving up at 140 for 2-3 years.
As far as I know, other than what I mentioned there is:
Cody Crowley with low KO ratio but beated Josesito Lopez and Kudratillo Abdukakhorov.
David Avanesyan whom is making a comeback after his loss agaisnt Kavaliuskas, beating Josh Kelly and Kerman Lejarraga twice.
Connor Benn could currently easily been in the Mix if he hadn't tested positive.Comment
