I also want to give props to Russell for taking his first loss like a true competitor. He was hurt several times and he never stopped trying to WIN. He showed tremendous determination and heart. We have seen fighters recently ACCEPT their 1st LOSS.

    Kambosos?

    Who else?

If that’s how you judge who has a great punch as opposed to knock out percentage, then what current fighter would you say has a great punch?

I notice the Breadman is a lot like his fighter Plant when it comes to Benevidez.........a poster asked about how that fight would go and was ignored. Neither one will mention Benevidez's name........for good reason!

Dude, Earnie Shavers lost every big fight he ever had and was never heavyweight champion. He lost to Tex Cobb & Jerry Quarry

STILL considered the hardest puncher of all-time.

Being the "hardest puncher" has nothing to do with who you beat, it has to do with how hard you hit.

Just because you hit hard doesn't mean you're going to beat everybody.

Dude, we know that ring IQ doesn't necessarily translate to real life IQ, because, look at Floyd Mayweather.

Dude's arguably the smartest fighter ever, but can't read more than at the level of a 1st grader.

            Two very different skills

What if you fought all cans? Would that affect your KO percentage?

That didn’t answer my question but, if it were that easy regardless of competition, wouldn’t there be plenty of other fighters with ko %s of over 90%? Especially if they’re fighting “cans” who are ranked fighters in their division.

Wouldn't you also favor Lennox Lewis, both Klitschkos, Mike Tyson, etc to also KO everybody Wilder beat? It's not a particularly strong resume whether the fighters were ranked or not. Most people agree it's a weak era.
