It's more cruel and inhumane punishment for Butler to fight Inoue. That would be a massacre.

Inoue is head and shoulders above everyone in his division. There isn’t a plausible fight where he ends up on the receiving end of a loss.

Fulton is with PBC. No elite level talent outside of them is allowed.

it'll happen but i reckon MJ might get a bite at Inoue first - more money for him and then the winner fights Fulton

                will .... not would - it's a signed fight.

There's a special clause in the fight contract - the promoter pays for air ambulance from Japan to UK

Interesting comment - thanks - can you elaborate. I would have thought that conditioning goes in peaks and troughs - peaking out at the end of a training camp. I do think he is in his absolute prime right now , past 30 and his physical prime will decline

He’s reached a rhythm of training and recovery where he’s more beastly than he’s ever been. Eventually, life i.e injury, loss of passion, inactivity, and plain aging will break that rhythm. So he needs to be thrown to the wolves without second thought before this fades.

Rematching his toughest opponent who broke his face is likely what drove Inoue to new heights of motivation. But he needs constant challenges from here to sustain. Wouldn’t be surprising if he’s a little less vs Butler than he was for Nonito, but he’s still got plenty of the momentum for the time being.

I have to agree with 90 year old Bob at this point, Inoue is a nightmare for anyone from 118-126 maybe! I like his balance, combinations, poise and of course that incredible power. Fulton may want the payday but trust me, he doesn’t want that smoke.
