NSB: now do you understand? Been telling you for YEARS: Terence 'No Smoke' Crawford.

I told you that he was smoke and mirrors.

There's no way he could pull off a PPV fight unless he was in negotiations at the same time as with Spence.

Which means he had no intention of signing to fight Spence.

Think back: he's done this before.

Comes out saying he'll fight Manny and they're close to signing, only to have it be Kell Brook.

This is how he's always operated.

Hopefully, some of you get it now.

What do you mean? It's obvious Crawford and his team negotiated the fight with Avanesyan in about 5 days.

    [sarcasm]

Interesting how Fury does it and gets cracked on (hyping that's he's going to fight big, ends up fighting someone else), Crawford does it and gets a pass.

      But...it is NSB.

"At the same time" is a pretty big window...

When did they start negotiating? Spence-Ugas?

I was traveling for a wedding in September when I heard "material terms are agreed to and the fight's good to go for Nov 19" but it was all unofficial and who knows what the source of that was.

I thought for sure the fight was going to be announced during the Canelo-GGG weekend, which was four weeks ago. Honestly that would even have been a little late for a fight of this magnitude.

But basically we've heard nothing official for months and months about this one. At what point does it become ok for Crawford to go, ok well I may as well get a fight in this year?

B side Bud got the revised contract and ghosted Haymon and took on another bum.
          He never wanted it.

History tells all. He’s always had a hard time making fights with opponents that were elite. Bob spoiled him with large sums of money for easy nights work.

The lawsuit against Top Rank? Arum ain’t the most trust worthy but you can agree profit is the bottom line and he straight up told everyone Crawford is tough to deal with and they lose money on each of his fights.

Top rank overestimated Buds worth and gave him a hell of a contract. Buds team understands their fighters mental and physical limitations at 147 and took the oath of least resistance knowing they “did enough” with the 140lb undisputed run.

Bud can now sit back and force Spence to move up because of weight issues and make sure he never even gets a shot at ever being undisputed. It’s a dirty game but I guess we would all do the same if we knew we could lose and our whole P4p status would be in question.

This fight didn’t happen because Bud and team were being the same they’ve always been. This fight will never happen at welterweight because it’s either Spence can’t make the weight safely anymore in the next 3-4 months and/or Bud will continue to do the Fury bait and switch while robbing the bank.

This fight is not happening at 147. Let’s get that out of our minds for good.

Yes his career is a joke but Haymon is the common denominator in most of these promotional dispute. Crawford wanted the fight more imo but Spence let his manager **** it all up

It's ironic you say that because the only fighter who has ever given Haymon any kind of push back on a contract negotiation has been Terence Crawford. Everyone has always been happy and very satisfied with what Haymon had offered them.

Which includes; Both Pac and Canelo and they weren't even PBC fighters. So it's a clear and obvious strategy on Team Crawford's part to avoid the fight by hiding behind money in order to price themselves out and duck Errol Spence. They never wanted the fight.

Then explain why Tyson Fury (2nd fight, Arum) managed to get a fight done with Wilder (Haymon)?

No...the common denominator is, a B-Side that doesn't fully accept their status. Which is to shut up, accept ALL terms, make NO demands. Like Devin Haney did. Like Rolly did.

Crawford asking to approve expenses - I guarantee you he didn't ask BLK Prime to see their books and I guarantee you that BoxingScene will have an article reporting that Crawford didn't get paid. Just like Tyson and Jones with Triller.
                    • Did you know that apparently, BLK Prime is associated with Blue Blood TV?
                    • Did you know that Blue Blood TV met with Crawford a bit ago?
                    • Blue Blood TV was the # 1 outlet for the status of the negotiations. Most just wrote what he reported.

Put two-and-two together. You got okie-doked. By 'No Smoke' Crawford. He put out false information while pushing off Spence's team so he could negotiate a golden goose deal with a soft touch.
