The point is who knows until this 2 guys meet in the ring. All we have now are presumptions. If this fight ever happens then this will be a very exciting fight.
As much as i like Pacquiao, Floyd Sr. is damn right, Lil Floyd would pick him apart and finish him before the 10th round. He's a much better fighter, that's obvious.
ive said all along that mayweather is the one fighter that can negate all that southpaw **** and make it easy. pac had all kinds of problems with marquez and you saw what floyd did to marquez.pac is junk compared to mayweather and he will embarrace pac and arum in front of the world. this fight won't happen.
and i will say it now mayweather has been struggling against dela hoya and hatton look what pacquiao did he destroyed them. that's why eventhough im a pbf fan i'm not confident on his chances against the pacman.
Same style?!? Sure they're both defensive counter punchers but their style is very different. Offensively JMM is much more dangerous than floyd for Pac as he's actually willing to fight.
floyd will have problems with pacs handspeed, footspeed, southpaw stance and work rate. 3 significant dings in PBF's defense.
you are 101% correct this will be a very even fight because mayweather will be middleweight at fightnight and outweight pacquiao by 15-20lbs if not for the size advantage this will be an easy fight for pacquiao again.
Floyd would walk through pacquiao to an easy ud. mosley is a peice of **** who forgets all about ducking Floyd and has thought he was a badass since beating a non plastered margarito. However i'd like to see floyd vs williams or cotto, well pretty much any true WW since that hasn't happened in the last however many fights.
As much as we want to hate all the Mayweathers for all their yick-yacking at the mouth we have to admit one thing, Floyd Jr.is the best boxer around. I know Pacquiao fans strongly disagree and bring good and credible arguments. As much as we think Mayweather is ducking many opponents ask yourself this question-Between Floyd and Pac, who has fought the most top notch fighters and really was never in danger of getting a good beat down? Yes, Pac was impressive against DLH and Hatton. Pac had three fights with Morales in which he lost one and won the two others. He's fought twice with JMM and at least we can say that one of those fights was questionable. That being said, we have to look at Floyd's track record. Many will say that Floyd doesn't like to get dirty in the ring and refuses to mix it up. Folks, this is boxing, not the MMA. Floyd will not fight the fight that you or his opponent wants. If another fighter feels like they have the go-nads to go in and take him out then be my guest. All you are going to get is another boxing lesson by the Master. If Pacquiao, and I mean IF, gets by Cotto he will have to relish that vicotory forever because if his intentions are to fight Floyd next then he is going to have to prepare for the most talented man in the sport today. And as good as the Pac-Man is for the sport he is going to be the next person doing a post fight interview praising the King of Boxing after receiving a boxing lesson.
Scenario 2010....ACT 1 Pacquaio beats Mayweather. ACT 2 Mayweather beats Pacquiao. ACT 3 Pacquaio beats Mayweather. These 2 boxers are not BIGGER than BOXING. Boxing needs these fights, there losing their fans to UFC/MMA. IT'S ALL ABOUT THE MONEY!
