Gamboa vs Broner always looked good on paper back in 2012 or 2013.

Maidana vs Prodnikov seemed like a ****er as well back in like 2013 or 2014

An of course Ward vs Ggg would have answered a lot of questions!

3 of those were on my shortlist:

GGG-Pirog- which was signed I believe and then Pirog got injured and retired.

Loma vs Garcia- I was so high on Mikey, shame he just chased paydays and went well beyond his natural weight.

          Wilder-AJ too.
Yup. Man broke his back. Which is ironic because I believe that fight would have really answered the question in regards to Prime GGG's ceiling. Still a pick-em fight IMO.

And yeah, Mikey was definately only in it for the cash. Sucks because he had all the skill in the world.

It’s an ancient fight but Salvador Sanchez vs Eusebio Pedroza. Both longtime featherweight champions at the same time in an era where most fights like this got made.

Ward vs ggg is a distant second for me.

Mikey is one of the biggest waste of talents I’ve seen in the last 20 years. Obviously still had a very good career but he wasted so much of his prime IMO.

Had everything IMO, great technique, great timing, power, speed, punch variation etc etc. He should have stayed with Arum and taken that Gamboa fight. His career never really got back on track after that. He had a few decent years at 135 but he never really looked the same fighter I thought. The motivation/hunger had diminished.

A lot of good ones mentioned, but the one I really wish happened was Rios vs Ortiz.
