Will Spence & Thurman happen next?

I see this fight happening next. It's the only fight that makes sense.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Spence v Danny Garcia or Thurman at 154. He's already hinting that he's struggling to make 147 and may never fight at Welter again.

I don't think he fights Garcia again. If he goes to 154, J-Rock or Hurd.

Yup, Hymen likes to keep things in house so we'll see: Thurman vs Spence at 154 or not at all since PBC all about ducking, Jermell moves up to 160 (for Spence to takeover 154) and Mall moves up to 168.

That’s a sht fight btw. Spence should be fighting Ennis/Stanionis. Thurman should be fighting the leftover in that recipe. Crawford not PBC, Avanesyan the best none PBC fighter available right now. Hopefully he can get a fight next that’s not 10+ months apart. He should fight Ortiz next.

People also acting like PBC is really going to put Ennis in with Spence. You’ll see a lot of “it’s not big enough yet” in regards to that. That fight isn’t happening anytime soon if ever.

It's all up to Spence to fight Thurman in December, which is still plenty of time to prepare.

I don't see it. Spence really doesn't punch at 147. Jermell went through a gauntlet up there for no money by welterweight standards. Can Spence really beat Hurd or Fundora? I still think Lubin can beat him. Outside of Harrison gassing, he'd box the ears off of Spence. I heard the gym stories but no way Spence punches as hard as Jermell without those 16oz gloves. I'd have Castano beating Spence. He go up to 154 just to fight 147s going up. He was already at 152 with Thurman and Porter and they all went back to 147. That's when prime versions Andrade and Lara were calling out Spence and Thurman.

One thing is for sure, it won't be an Avanesyan level opponent.
