Bob Arums' fault for releasing Crawford and not giving him 2 (missed one during covid so he is owed that purse. race stuff is all lawyers) yearly guaranteed fights to go over to PBC and sit a year with Broner, Arreola, JRock, Thurman (I fight 1 time every 2 years) and the long list of dust collecting fighters.

Fighting a dude mean machine already smoked. Either Crawford is super terrible at managing his career or he is too scared to take the L from Spence. There is no way he is getting more from this than what he would get from the Spence fight

Having lived through Larry Holmes not facing facing Greg Page and Michael Dokes, or the Rid**** Bowe and Lennox Lewis non-fight, this Crawford/Spence debacle doesn't surprise me. I see this as a mix of promotional and ego issues and in no way believe anybody was afraid of anybody else. Crawford chose his better path and one wonders how long before Spence does the same. Both have big pills to swallow in the next 6-12 months.
