I think Plant is at a time in his career where his next fight, or two, will be him at his best. Breadman has him sitting down on punches when he can, and he continues to use angles and speed as an expert, despite being underestimated. I think Plant wins this...

IF THE FIGHT HAPPENS, I don’t believe it will, it will be similar to watching Lara fight anyone. I think Benavides people know Plant won’t engage with him and that Benavidas only real weakness is is slow feet. I think its a very close fight which I could see Benavides KOing plant later or Plant making it a boring fight with holding and boxing and winning by a couple points. Hopefully Benavides people can buy a couple judges and he wins a close one.

I do think that obviously Plant can win rounds by outboxing him, but he will eventually get caught by the pressure.

It is true that Plant got the more exciting outcome, but it was way more competitive compared to a younger Anthony Dirrell who was gradually overwhelmed by a 22 year old David Benavidez.
