I’ve always liked Plant by decision in that fight. Benavidez doesn’t move his feet well and doesn’t cut off the ring effectively. I could see Benavidez catching up to Plant and forcing a late stoppage but my prediction on that fight would be Plant by UD.

I would pick Benavidez in this matchup.

But my heart is with Plant, I have a strong dislike for fat coke heads with fat boy ******* and a doughboy skinny fat body.

This is an excellent analysis of their respective boxing skills and attributes.

It made me laugh out loud, though.

I forgot about that part. David has superior shot selection and a high punch volume that will overwhelm Plants Jab. I think he will be able to cut the ring off against Plants defensive style.

Benavidez has the edge in power, Plant the edge in footwork and speed. If Benavidez can cut off the ring he probably lands the bigger punches. Plant's path to victory would be with the jab, and counter-punches. I think Plant squeaks out a narrow decision win.

Benavidez too big, too strong, too powerful.

There's a reason Canelo wants no part of him.

Plant by UD. Talent and skill advantage are on his side. All it takes is more cardio workouts. So, running more and more.

After his last fight I think Plant shows more resistance than I used to think but no way he goes the distance with Benavidez when Uzcategui was breaking him down late and rocked him. David late TKO.
