Does it matter. Weight is weight. JMM was only 4 pounds lighter than PBF

Pacman was weight drained against JMM now

Weight drained fighter don't throw rapid combos and bounce around. Weight drained fighter look like Oscar at 147

Why dont you understand that natural size isnt all about how much you weigh on the scales? Its how you carry it and how its distributed around your body.

JMM could have weighed more than Floyd on the night and still clearly be the smaller man

JMM weighed in at 142. Mayweather weighed in at 146

        Fight night weights
The small JMM weighed in at 148. And Mayweather weighed in at 152 pounds.

The difference between PBF and JMM is 4 pounds.

        Why Floyd look bigger
People claim Floyd was the 10 pounds. That would mean Floyd was 158 fight night. Mayweather walks less than 155 pounds. How does he weigh in at 158.

Are you telling me Floyd Mayweather weighs the same fight night as Margarito, Mosley and Cotto

The reason Floyd look bigger was because of his skin color. Black boxers tend to look more muscular and well defined. Why is it mosy black boxers looked most ripped, because of their skin color, hence why bodybuilders tan themselves. Hatton is very ripped, but due to his pale skin it doesn't show.
floyd was 154-160 lbs on fight night. otherwise why wouldn't he let HBO weigh him?

So when Floyd looks worlds bigger than that, what does that tell you? Oh yeah, that's right...it was his skin color that towered over Marquez

This is all wrong. Flawless lemme give you my opinion on it. Mayweather is significantly bigger because:

Floyd started at 125 in the amateurs which is the same weight Marquez started at. There is only 1 inch height difference which isn't much so yeah Floyd and Juan are the same size at this point in their career.

When Floyd began his pro career he moved to Super featherweight, as a young man he grew out of being a featherweight as young men grow, do you honestly weight the same now as you did when you was 18? So after 20 odd fights, Mayweather really started struggling to make weight at super featherweight and he openly admitted this. In his last fight he didn't eat for 3 days because he was so low over the limit and struggling and thus moved up to lightweight. Meanwhile, Juan Manuel Marquez is still a featherweight.

Now Mayweather dominates lightweight for sometime, he stays here for a while but by the time he is mid 20s he can't make weight anymore again...so he moves up again. Meanwhile, Marquez is still at featherweight.

Now as a light welterweight he is VERY comfortable and he moves up...he doesn't need to as he is comfortable making weight but does so in search of big fights...meanwhile Marquez is STILL a featherweight and he's like 34!

Now as evident on saturday, Mayweather couldn't even hit 144. Marquez moved up to super featherweight to chase Barrera, Morales and get another fight with Pacquiao, he didn't move up because he was killing himself to make weight, he was fine at 125 at the age of 34! Mayweather is 32 now and couldn't go lower than what Miguel Cotto weighted for his last fight! Then Marquez moved up AGAIN to lightweight where he was purely chasing Pacquiao...he didn't wanna stay in Super Featherweight and fight nobodies, but he was still able to make weight at Featherweight or Super Featherweight.

Difference is, Mayweather started a featherweight and grew into a legitimate welterweight. Marquez started a featherweight...and stayed a featherweight...then went up in weight chasing bigger fights and looked WRONG at Welterweight. Thats the diffference and thats why Mayweather is bigger than Marquez.

Hell, he didn't look too hot at lightweight either.

                Consider B4 Rehydration

The 4 pound difference was before rehydration. After the fighters rehydrate, the naturally bigger person will bounce back up at a much higher weight since they have more room to put their moisture back into. I don't know where you got the information about Mayweather's actual fighting weight since he refused to be weighed at fight night. Most people are speculating that he ballooned to a much higher weight and did not want that information to be known to the public.

Mayweather is a smart businessman and knows the damage it will do to his credibility if it was known how much he actually outweighed JMM. To many of the more intelligent boxing fans, he is not getting away with this, because the size difference was very obvious in the ring. The fact that he didn't want to get weighed is also blowing up in his face because it is now left to the imagination as to how much he actually weighed - and sometimes the imagination can be worse than reality.

Another point to consider is that most boxers have difficulty reducing weight. JMM had difficulty trying to move up to this weight. This indicates that he has reached the maximum size potential of his frame.

On an equal note, some boxers miss weight by a pound or less, and this is considered to be a big deal. Some bouts get cancelled because of this. To miss the weight by 2 pounds is excessive. It indicates that PBF did not respect the catchweight and wanted to make sure that he wins this fight. Like I said, he is a smart businessman. He will pay a few thousand dollars in penalties to ensure he wins the fight, because the big payoff is down the road with Pacman, Cotto or Mosley.

Maybe Floyd doesn't want his fight night always shown. Cotto and Oscar don't allow these to be shown. What does that mean

Hatton outweighed Floyd. Yet people said he look bigger. Simply because of his darker skin. Why is bodybuilders tan themselves and black boxers abs always show

Just a little tip, when SFWs gain 17 pounds between the weigh in and the fight, they're weight drained. That's why Pac has looked better in his last two fights, despite only weighing one or two more pounds in the ring.

FYI, that's over 2 gallons of fluid he had to rehydrate, from 129, overnight.

Dude if someone weights more than you, it doesn't mean they're bigger than you. You could for example be 2 inches taller than me, with our muscles being the exact same size, yet I weight more because my bones are denser and weight more. Who'd be bigger? You would.

I am 5'9 and about 170lbs, my cousin is 5'6 and he's 170lbs...trust me he is MUCHHH bigger than me...like miles!! His bicep is bigger than my head...who's bigger? Me or him?
