    devin the hugger haney

24 rounds of excessive holding 2 unwatchable snoozefests. Both refs should have given warnings by the 3rd rd then points then it would have stopped. At one point during the match I saw haney fainting for the hug, I was like what the flip is going on here? Henry Akinwande was disqualified for excessive holding on lennox lewis. The refs job is not to be a fan but to do the job he is paid for. If your holding more than 10 times a rd I find that to be a problem.

I was in and out watching his fight, I knew it was going to be one sided, but the broadcast had an on going tally of how many times Haney initiated the clinch lol

it is the OPPONENT JOB to do something about the Clinching, I'm consistent I said that about Sakio Bika, Andre Ward, Ricky Hatton, Bernard Hopkins, Wlad Klitschko...the opponent need to prepare for that. Mayweather fought Hatton, he was prepared for it!

Tim Bradley mentioned the excessive amounts of clinching Haney did in the first fight.
Haney didn't have to as much in the second fight because there were few opportunities
for him to do so. Kambosos fought like a dancing clown.

Haney still managed to slip and hug. To this day, I've still never seen anyone slip and then hug instead of throwing a punch. Why hug when you can throw a punch? I'll never understand that mentality or why that's part of his game.

Haney is going to get schooled by Stevenson and Loma. They are more ahtletic. He is technical but not as athletic as those two. Garcia has better speed and is atleast the same size. Davis has too much ower. Haney would win some rounds but he would get folded by Gervonta eventually. Pit bull cruz would be a good test for Haney.
