Round Of Applause for Shields and Marshall

One of the best fights I've ever seen. Women's or men's boxing!!!!

The fight was very good by women’s boxing standards but let’s not get carried away. It was no Gatti-Ward or Barrera-Morales. It completely pales in comparison to fights from earlier this year like Wood-Conlan, Lubin-Fundora etc.

We had the same crazy overreactions after Taylor-Serrano as well. If that’s one of the best fights you’ve ever seen, you mustn’t have seen too many.

At least Taylor-Serrano was close. This one wasn't.

Round of applause for both I guess but tonight belongs to Shields.
She backed up her ''big mouth'' as always. Marshall never stopped trying but I personally thought she was ineffective for most part. Very sloppy, forced work and for all the talk of her power, where was it?

Difference was she didn't have a 45yr old lollypop lady in front of her for once.

Tbh I think a lot owe Shields an apology or need to just give her, her due. I don't like her as a person either but you can't deny her skills and ability and she's a dog in there. They all claim she is featherfisted and all this but she stood right in front of Marshall and got the better of virtually every exchange.
A classic case of people picking a fighter going by their heart not their head. Banking on what they wished would happen not what they thought or common sense suggested.

Marshall did what she could. The big question was: if her power was enough to hurt Shields. it wasn't. However she was pivoting, using head movements and getting shots in now and then, she also came on. No shame to her game... Marshall would do better with 3 minute rounds and a 12 rounder. Still do not think she would win.

                  That fight as a draw.
And Shields should thank God for the belt when she got tag at the end of the fight.

Sound like you was watching Sky Broadcast

I have to be honest, I did not have it close, Marshall won MAYBE 3 Rounds and that is being very generous to her but the Crowd was Cheer for stuff that wasn't even landing when Shields was on the Ropes when they played the Reply. Shields was able to stop her momentum and take back momentum anytime she wanted and every time she would start to let her hands go

Respect to Marshall BUT all praises goes 1000% to Shields and her going on the Road and dominating the Woman who people been saying would knock her out over the last year or so all because they Hate Shields
