Comments Thread For: Eubank Promoter Urges Speedy Resolution To Benn Investigation

The promoter of Chris Eubank Jr. hopes that the commission looking into Conor Benn's positive drug test isn't dragging their feet. Kalle Sauerland, the head of Wasserman, which backs the longtime middleweight contender Benn, recently expressed

All would be fine if there wasn’t this insane culture of doping that this has brought to light

He got caught red-handed they need to punish him. This wasn't a contamination or mix up, he was cycling and it's obvious. The main red flag should have been when he didn't enroll in the WBC clean boxing program.

Fight should be cancelled completely and Benn suspended until the investigation by UKAD is completed. It seems Eubank wants that payday and probably thinks he can win regardless but this fight doesn't need to happen.

On a separate note, has UKAD completed the investigation into Tyson and Hughie regarding the tainted boar meat?

Eubank doesn't want to fight anyone with a pulse he's chasing money hence why this was his choice of opponent and before that there was discussions of Brook, he's as bad as Andrade...

And UKAD failed to do anything of real consequence relating to the Fury's the whole thing was a joke on their behalf and boar meat isn't "tainted" with nandrolone it's naturally occurring within boar meat, particularly within the liver, kidneys and Testicles, basically the offal.

The issue with the Fury's excuse is they'd both have to be tested within 24 hours of eating it, which would be one hell of coincidence if that was the case...

Pardon on my poor wording regarding the nandrolone in the boar meat. Thanks for the clarification on the Fury situation.

The bodies have their procedures and let them do their job without any pressure. The findings were made 3 weeks before the fight date and that was enough time to have a step in fighter. The promoters don’t care about the health of the fighters so instead of finding a replacement they wanted to reward a drug cheat but now they want to pretend like they care about Eubank. What about all the undercard fighters whose lives got messed up by a grit cheat?
I just hope the law takes its course. The UK drug situation is becoming a comedy especially after Tyson Fury’s claims of wild boar and promoters doing everything to by pass any punishment.

Doesn't tell us anything. What exactly is the process? How long will it take? Has the B sample been tested? If not why not? It's 3 weeks since the adverse finding why aren't the facts confirmed?
                  BBBoC looking unprofessional and shaky

The BBBofC are generally open with all this shít they'll post it all somewhere when it comes to light like they do with every other drugs case e.g. https://www.sportsintegrityinitiative.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/03/uk-anti-doping-fury-decision.pdf

Eddie has said in an interview IF Connor sends the B sample back, Eddie wants a lawyer and a scientist of their choosing to be present at it's opening.

But the board aren't responsible for UKADs handling of Anti-doping... they're essentially subcontractors.

So they (BBBofC) can't put a timeline on it, they can only real ensure an outcome eventually.

Though god only knows if that's ever going to happen, Eddie and Kalle could well be powerful enough to make it disappear and ensure Eubank Benn happens sooner rather then later.
