Should be a great fight this. Also great to have a double-header of great fights. The rest of the card is getting future stars on the card in mismatches for exposure and Savannah's mate vs a jourmeywoman, but the last two fights are great and to Nash very hard to call if Marshall's power is all that it has seemed in her last few fights.
Someone mentioned the draws, always worth a go in 50-50 fights. Nash remembers throwing a decent amount on Lara vs Castano being a draw a while back. From a tactical viewpoint, I see Baumgardner coming out looking to score early damage/drop/stoppage, but if she doesn't do enough early, I could see Mayor then getting on top winning the middle rounds, and maybe who wants it more in 9/10 wins the fight.
If Marshall has top-tier power, I believe this could be a major problem for Shields because as soon as Marshall lands some great shots, Shields is firing back, her ego, and being called pillow fists by her boxing enemy will not allow her to do otherwise, and if it turns out she can't majorly hurt Marshall, and Marshall is willing to take 4 to land 2 bombs, Shields may get stopped.
On the other hand, if Shields can take Marshall's power, you can make a strong case for her winning a clear UD. Nash is not going to sit on the fence and he is going for the two underdogs (current UK betting odds)
Marshall & Baumgardner to win. Nash says this with zero confidence. It's a great thing though that we have two fights that are on paper hard to predict and nobody is going out putting their life savings down on the outcomes.
Wilder KO's Helenius, Haney wins a clear points decision, and nobody watches Hearn's Dazn card. Further predictions for the night. Nash out
