Ruiz is a good fighter and when in shape would beat most top tenners BUT Ruiz is pretty slow on his feet and a little easy to hit. This against a KO artist like no other is a 'nightmare' for him and I don't mean the old 'Nightmare' 42 year old Chris Arreola who had Ruiz down just two fights ago and on the verge of a stoppage .Young Edward should know this as there's talk he's trying to make a fight with his losing Heavyweight against old Chris and obviously is trying to say Arreola is worthy enough to give his desperate charge a win at last.Transparent Edward is certainly going to be entertaining over the coming days and weeks!

I would have Wilder as the clear favourite but how that fight played out would depend on whether Ruiz is gonna try to make it a scrap or just sit back and be lazy. Either way he probably loses, but if he really goes for it he has the chin and ability to make Wilder work for the win and potentially hurt him.

Wilder doesn't bend and come in with combos, just paws with the left for distance (keep him out of Ruiz's combo range) and to line up the head.
You aren't necessarily wrong. But I think wilder don't mind giving rounds away and if you let ruiz unload on you it might not turn out good.
plus ortiz was wilder best win and ruiz just beat ortiz so at present momentum is with ruiz.
Ruiz don't need to try outl point wilder, just make sure he lands heavy artillery on wilder, that wilder not accustomed to.

Possible but also possible that this narrative that “only fury beats Wilder” is just that, only a narrative. That’s why they need to get in the ring and fight the fights.

Ruiz is a good fighter and an in shape ruiz probably knocks out AJ again. Wilder KOs him tho.

That is where people under estimate Wilder: he does not just "punch hard" but has very fast feet. Like Pacman... he comes off his fighting line like a sprinter, already has reach, and has hit opponent in a flash.

Helenius/Wilder will be a good one..I dont like making predictions, but this one is close, imo only. Wilder is no great tactician, but hes proven more often than not that his power can nullify that Lets face it, Helenius is no Ali, either, but hes big and strong, and came closer to beating Fury did, imo, so that should mean something on the night. Also, taking nothing away from Ruiz, Idk if he will beat Wilder if they meet. He absolutely can, but Wilders only losses have come at the hands of a man who was slick enough AND big enough to push Wilder back. Ruiz has shown his heart and that he will not be bullied by size, but it takes more to beating someone than to avoid their right..I think defensively. Ruiz is years ahead of Wilder, but its the offense he has to deliver..and its not a good idea to get too close to Wilder.

I don't rate Wilder very highly, never have, I think he is very beatable. I would pick him over Ruiz though. Should be able to to just stick and move for 12 rounds, maybe land that big right hand and take him out.

So if wilder beats helenius, it would be ruiz next? That's a good fight. Ruiz to win
