Don’t say it’s because he’s overweight because James Toney had fast reflexes

Because he only sits down to eat and has to shove that food down his throat as fast as possible.

He has to be set to use his hand speed. Don't think he can move around with all that blubber. His reflexes are not bad and he makes up some of it with his chin.

Because his hands are his hands and his feet are his feet, hope this makes sense.

I’m still waiting for the day where someone is born with their legs and arms in reverse positions and takes up boxing where they can move around perfectly and be effective at hitting though it would be more of a thrust then a common punch using the feet to strike in boxing . If Ruiz had this he’d be called “ Reverse “ Ruiz .

His legs are carrying a fcckload of weight; his arms are not.

Well, speed is in the body and quickness is in the mind. He's probably fast all around, but his heavy weight slows down his footwork. But he could also just have fast hands and not fast feet. Canelo is somewhat similar in that regard.

Why is the sky blue? Why is water wet? Why did Judas grab the Romans while Jesus slept?

Dude, Toney aint nowhere near as fat as he is.

                  Fat Toney was 220lbs.

                  Fat Ruiz is over 300lbs

When he moves his hands and arms they're not supporting 270 pounds of fat.
